How to sync Treatwell bookings into Phorest automatically
If you take bookings on Treatwell and run your diary in Phorest, you have two calendars to keep in step. Booking Connect puts Treatwell bookings into Phorest for you, and shows your Phorest availability on Treatwell.
What you need
A Phorest account with API access (see How to get your Phorest API details).
A Treatwell Connect account.
A Booking Connect account. Automatically adding Treatwell bookings to Phorest is part of the Plus plan. The Basic plan shows your Phorest free and busy times on Treatwell.
Set-up in five steps
Create your Booking Connect account and start your free trial.
On the Setup page, in Step 1: Phorest API settings, enter your username, password and business ID and click Save Changes. The badge changes to Connected.
In Step 2: Select Branch, choose the branch you want to sync.
In Step 4: Select staff and copy calendars to Treatwell, switch on Sync cal for each stylist, then click Setup calendar to copy their iCal link. In Treatwell Connect, open their profile and paste it into the external calendar field.
In Step 5: Treatwell booking emails, copy the address shown and add it in Treatwell under Settings, Notifications, Contacting you as the secondary email address.

Step 3 on the Setup page is optional. It lets you download your existing client list from Phorest to upload to Treatwell. See Download client list.
What happens next
When a customer books on Treatwell, Treatwell sends a booking email to Booking Connect. We read it, work out which stylist it is for, find the customer in Phorest by their email and phone number (or create them if they are new), and add the booking to the diary. You then get an email telling you it was processed.
Going the other way, bookings you take in Phorest show as busy on Treatwell. Treatwell checks your calendar feed regularly, so allow up to five minutes for a new Phorest booking to appear.
Reschedules and cancellations from Treatwell are handled too. See What happens when a Treatwell booking is cancelled or rescheduled?.
Choosing how bookings appear in Phorest
By default, a Treatwell booking blocks out the right time in your Phorest diary with breaks. You can choose to create a full Phorest appointment instead, separately for prepaid and unpaid bookings. See Configure mappings and Treatwell prepaid vs unpaid bookings in Phorest.
Booking Connect has a 14-day free trial, so you can try it with your own diary first. See the pricing page for the plans.
Booking Connect is an independent service. It isn't run by Treatwell, Phorest, Fresha or ClassPass.
